Trust Account Advocate

Advocate NM Mtsweni law practice is registered with the Legal Practice Council and holds a Trust Account which enables her to take instructions direct from members of the public without the need to engage services of an Attorney.

Advocate Mtsweni is an experience litigant who has been in the legal profession for the past 23 years. In these 23 years she has had opportunities to fill various different roles in this legal fraternity. From 1999 to 2010 Advocate Mtsweni worked for the National Prosecuting Authority as a Magistrate/ Regional Court Prosecutor and was promoted to Junior Advocate at both Pretoria and Johannesburg Director of Public Prosecutions and later as a Senior State Advocate. In 2010 she resigned from the National Prosecuting Authority to join Johannesburg Bar where she served her pupillage and was admitted as a practicing Advocate until the advent of the Legal Practice Council. She is now a member in good standing with the Legal Practice Council, and on 14 February 2023 she became a Trust Account Advocate.

Since admission at the Johannesburg Bar and later with the Legal Practice Council, Advocate Mtsweni has been running a successful practice in both the Johannesburg & Pretoria High Court, however her practice has taken her all over South Africa. Her practice focuses on personal damages claim arising Unlawful Arrest, from man on the street and also representing Minister of Police, Commercial litigation-contract, Road Accident Fund and Family Law matters.
